Create an Exam with AI

  • Select AI Generation. 
  • Choose topics (required for AI to generate questions). 
  • Select difficulty level: 
    • Easy 
    • Medium 
    • Hard 
    • Random 
  • Optionally, include questions from the question library. 
  • Click Generate Exam. 
  • Review and proceed to Exam Details. 
  • Click Create to finalize. 

📌 Note: AI-generated exams require existing topics within the subject. You can create your own topics if none exist.

Assessr's AI-powered exam generation feature allows teachers to quickly create custom assessments based on topics and  difficulty levels.

  1. Navigate to https://assessr.com/home/teacher/exams

  2. or Click "Manage Exam" and make sure you have created a class before creating an exam.
  3. Click the plus icon. this will allow you to start the process of creating your exam
  4. You'll have three Methods of creating an exams to choose from. Blank Exam, Use Template and AI Generation.
  5. Choose "AI Generation". This allows you to automatically generate an exam
  6. Click "Continue"
  7. When a subject doesn't have any topics yet, you can add them by clicking "Add Topics".
  8. Start adding your topics separated by a semi colon. when you are done click "Submit"
  9. Now you can start selecting the topics you want the AI to generate questions for.
  10. Select the level of difficulty
  11. then Click "Generate Exam"
  12. It may take quite a few seconds, so be patient with it.
  13. If you're satisfied with the AI-generated results, click "Use Exam" to proceed.
  14. Enter your exam details. then click "create" to proceed.
  15. If you're satisfied with how the exam is looking, click "Save" then "publish" your exam.
  16. Students will immediately see your scheduled exam. You have an option to share the exam link or have students scan the QR code which will take them to the exam.
