Overview
Teachers can create and manage classes, students, and exams.
Key Features
- Assessr Code = Teacher Code – Students use this to join the teacher’s organization.
- Only the class name is editable at the moment.
- Clicking a class opens the Class Management pop-up, which contains three sections:
- Overview – General class insights.
- My Students – Manage students.
- Invitations – Invite new students.
Creating a Class
Steps
- Click "Add Class".
- Enter Class Name.
- Select Curriculum:
- CAPS
- IEB
- Select Grade & Subject.
- Click "Create".
After Opening a Class
Once a class is selected, the Class Management pop-up appears, displaying three sections:
Class Overview Section (Overview Tab)
Overview
The Overview Tab provides a summary of class performance, including:
- Class Facilitator (teacher).
- Grade & Subject.
- Exam Attempts.
Performance Metrics
- Exam Completion Rate.
- Average Marks.
- Highest Score.
- Pass Rate Trends.
Managing Students (My Students Tab)
Overview
Teachers can:
- Filter students using the dropdown menu:
- All Students
- In Class
- Not in Class
Select one or more students and use the 3-dot menu to:
- Add students to class.
- Remove students from class.
Steps to Add/Remove Students
- Go to the “My Students” tab.
- Use the filter dropdown to display All Students, In Class, or Not in Class.
- Select one or more students from the list.
- Click the 3-dot menu.
- Choose “Add to Class” or “Remove from Class”.
Invitations Section (Invitations Tab)
Overview
Teachers can invite students to join their class.
Steps to Invite Students
- Go to the “Invitations” tab.
- Enter the student’s email.
- Click "Invite Students".
- The student receives an email invite with a link to join.
Resend Invitations
- Locate the student’s email in the Invitations tab.
- Click "Re-send" to resend the invitation.

Teachers can create and manage classes, invite students, and view class performance insights. This guide outlines the key actions in the Manage Class section with visual steps.
- Navigate to https://assessr.com/home/teacher/classes
- Or click "Manage Class" on the side navigation
- To create a class, click "Add Class"
- Start filling the form with details of your class.
- When you are done, click "Create"
- Now let's start adding students to the class. Click on the class you have just created.
- Click "My Students"
- Lets make sure "All Students" is selected in the drop down, so you can access all students in your organization.
- You can select the students you want in your class.
- Click "more" icon to access the menu.
- Select the relevant action, in this case adding the selected students. click "Add to Class"
- Click "Yes" to confirm you choice
- Done! congratulations, your students can now access the exams you create.
- If you want to invite new students, simply click on the next tab "Invitations"
- Start filling the input with student emails separated by a new line, semicolon or a comma.
- Click "Invite Students"
- Hooray, Tell you students to check their mail box and accept their invitation.
- Click "close"
- For analysis, click on the class you want to see stats for.
- Everything you nee to know about how you students are doing, will be here.
- as you keep scrolling you will see performance in specific topics and Summary Exam in exams the have written so far.
- To look at Student specific analysis click "My Students"
- Select the student you want to see.
- You'll be able to see where there are struggling which topics the need to focus on and more.
