Visual Guide: Creating a Blank Exam on the Assessr Platform
Teachers can manually build an exam from scratch using the Blank Exam option. This guide walks through each step of creating a blank exam for your class.
- Navigate to https://assessr.com/home/teacher/exams
- or Click "Manage Exam" and make sure you have created a class before creating an exam.
- Click the plus icon. this will allow you to start the process of creating your exam
- You'll have three Methods of creating an exams to choose from. Blank Exam, Use Template and AI Generation.
- Choose "Blank Exam". this will allow you to create an exam from scratch.
- Click "Continue"
- Enter your exam details. Note: There is no need for configurations on this method.
- Once you are done click "Create".
- If no topics are found under the selected subject of the exam you are trying to create, you'll see an option to add them. However, if topics already exist, you won't see this.
- Click "Add item" for additional context to your exams
- Create the structure you want, customize it according to your needs.
- To add your first questions click "add question"
- Select which topic your question falls under
- Once done click "Next"
- You can either add from Library, generate with AI or create your own custom question using the provided question types.
- Click "close"
- Save your exam.
- Click "Preview" to see how it looks
- If you are happy with everything Click "Publish".
- Students will immediately see your scheduled exam. You have an option to share the exam link or have students scan the QR code which will take them to the exam.
- Click "close"
